How to Order FOB
Retailers and trade buyers can select products from any factory within our international manufacturing network. Each order must be sourced from a single factory, as products from different factories cannot be combined within the same shipment.
Products may be mixed within the selected factory, subject to the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) applicable to each product.
Depending on the total order volume, goods will generally be shipped in either a 20-foot container or a 40-foot High Cube container. Our team can assist with product selection and quantities to help achieve an efficient container load.
All quotations and orders are issued in US dollars on an FOB basis. A deposit is required in advance to confirm and commence an order.
As orders are supplied FOB, buyers are responsible for arranging international freight, insurance, import clearance and delivery from the nominated port of shipment.

What is FOB?
FOB stands for Free on Board and is an international shipping term used for goods transported by sea.
Under an FOB arrangement, the seller is responsible for preparing the goods, transporting them to the nominated port, completing export requirements and loading them onto the buyer’s nominated vessel.
Once the goods have been loaded aboard the vessel at the port of shipment, responsibility and risk transfer to the buyer. The buyer is then responsible for:
- International ocean freight
- Shipping insurance
- Import customs clearance
- Duties, taxes and destination charges
- Delivery from the destination port
The quoted FOB price therefore covers the goods and the seller’s costs up to loading at the nominated port of shipment. It does not include international freight or the costs incurred after shipment.
